The magician displays a top hat. “Inside I have something.” The magician reaches inside his hat and produces a sponge with the wording “something.” The audience laughs and groans. “Ok, sorry about that. I guess my hat now has nothing.” The magician reaches into his hat and produces a second sponge, but this one is the word “nothing.” The audience groans again and begins to throw rotten tomatoes at the magician! Or whatever . . . .

Imagine performing a sponge ball trick. After having had several sponge balls appear from your spectator's hands, you bunch up another sponge into their hand. Ask them if they have something or nothing in their hand. They tell you they have something. You bet that it's nothing. They open their hand to reveal "Nothing" - you were right!! Similar fun can be had with the other hand. "Do you think you've got something in your hand?" They reply, "Yes." They open their hand to reveal "Something" and you remark that they must have ESP!

This fun red supersoft sponge word set from Goshman is fun and of course, opens up many different performing possibilities. Do what we did in the picture and use any Sharpie or indelible marker to make the edges of the words more prevalent. Each word is 10 1/2" x 2 1/2" in size. 075RUMSOMETHINGNOTHINGSS_RED
