The magician cuts a rope in half and then ties it back together.  The magician displays a beautifully made wooden box with a sliding front panel. The panel is removed, and the magician threads the rope through the holes in each of the box so that the knot is inside the box. The sliding front panel is replaced. Now comes the standard “Die Box” byplay where the magician commands the rope to be restored. The sliding panel is opened halfway to show the rope “restored.” Of course the audience surmises that the magician is just hiding the knot behind the portion of the panel that is not slid out all the way out of the front of the box. “Oh, show the other side?” The magician proceeds to do just that, but again the sliding panel is not removed all the way and obviously hides the knot on the rope. The kids go crazy! Finally the magician removes the front panel and shows the rope completely restored! There is no knot! This wonderful apparatus was produced by Supreme Magic of England once upon a time. The box is in mint condition and is beautifully made. We only have one in stock, and only a few were ever made.
