This is the classic handling of one of the most famous magic tricks in existence. The magicians shows three pieces of rope. One length is long, the other is medium sized, and the other is short. The ropes can be fully examined. The magician holds the rope ends between his hands as per the illustration, and then begins to apparently pull and stretch the ropes until all three are the same length! The magician can even count the ropes individually to show their same lengths. With a snap of the fingers however, all three ropes change back to short, medium, and long lengths again!
