This is a classic of magic that was innovated by the late Lester "Marvello" Lake. The magician displays a small guillotine. The polished chrome blade is raised and shown to move up and down within the stocks. An unsuspecting spectator is coherced to place her finger into the big hole of the raised chopper. After some very funny comic by-play, the blade is slammed down through the spectator's finger! A penetration occurs and the spectator's finger is of course completely unharmed.
