The magician displays a box that is perched on top of a single pedestal base. The magician hinges the four sides of the box downward to reveal a second box inside. The cabinet is lifted from the pedestal base and the front and back sides of the inner box are opened to show the inner cabinet to be completely empty. The procedure is reversed with the front and back sides of the inner box slid back in place. The unit set back down on the pedestal and the four sides folded back upward. The magician then reaches the top trap door and begins producing a large load of silk hanks, live or plush animals, flowers, or virtually anything else that will fit in the box!
